Rearranging the interior of the foyer, multimedia library and gallery in the Kosmos Cinema in Katowice.
The new foyer of the cinema should allude to its beginnings in the 1960s and 1970s. The colours are inspired by an original mosaic on the first floor of the cinema. A part of the mosaic is one of the very few original interior elements still visible there today. A reproduction of the mosaic decorates one of the foyer walls as wallpaper. Neon lights – once so characteristic for Katowice – now show the way to the screening rooms. Wood and warm, intensive colours should encourage cinema-goers to feel welcome and the cosy atmosphere is supported by furniture of well-known Polish brands.
