INDUSTRIADA is a festival held in the facilities belonging to the Silesian Technical Monuments Route. Silesia is a post-industrial region that has been redefining the purpose of industrial buildings for several years. Each year, the festival is accompanied by a different theme, addressing various aspects of cultural heritage. In 2022, the theme was "After Work. Time for a Break!", visible in the organized events and graphic design.
The main and consistent graphic motif for each edition is a mechanical heart. Every year, it acquires new graphic values to communicate the theme of the event. The basic color palette consists of orange, white, gray, and black.
Leisure time outside of work can be calm, balanced, but also a bit crazy and joyful. INDUSTRIADA is supposed to be associated with positive and energizing experiences for both young and older participants. Therefore, a retro atmosphere was used in the key visual, which is universally appealing across generations, evoking nostalgia and positive memories. The image was refreshed by using a new color - energetic purple. The collage technique combined with vector motifs gives a sense of dynamism and playfulness.
As part of the project, a poster, leaflets, and a series of graphics for social media were created.
