The wayfinding for the Historic Ignacy Coal Mine in Rybnik seamlessly integrates with its surroundings through the use of specific colors and materials. Graphite black echoes the original steel structural elements already present at the site. The expanded metal mesh highlights the industrial nature of the location. The complementary yellow color, when paired with black, provides high contrast and positively impacts the readability of the content. The bold typography not only adds character to the design but also enhances the clarity of the messages. The project incorporates elements mandated by the current visual identity guidelines of the city of Rybnik.
