“Homage 500. History – Culture – Memory” is a multifaceted exhibition set within the interiors of the Teutonic Castle in Malbork. The exhibition design integrates with the historic interiors while simultaneously contrasting them through the choice of materials. The exhibition walls, finished in steel-gray tones, emphasize the historical character of the displayed objects, while velvet curtains (in red and blue) provide a striking color accent, serving as a backdrop for selected works of art. The juxtaposition of soft fabric and steel finishing symbolizes the opposition between the Teutonic Order and the Kingdom of Poland. As part of the visitor route, a series of educational stations was created to actively engage the audience.
