“Get to work, folk!” was the slogan of another edition of the exhibition “Design in public space” in the Cieszyn Castle. The exhibition was about working in different spaces and shows the changes happening in the thinking about and creating of working spaces. The projects showed that the traditional division between work and leisure is disappearing which highly influences expectations and behaviours of users. The exhibition proved that a well-designed public space can fulfil various roles – parks can become temporary offices and working spaces can transform into leisure oases. The exhibition’s interior resembled a typical corporate office space. The projects breaking with the stereotypical thinking about working space were presented on traditional office desks with lamps and chairs.
