"Cafe Maria" is a café located in the foyer of the Bielsko Cultural Center. The main objectives of the interior design project were to aesthetically and colorfully reference the 1960s while creating a contemporary, inviting space not only for participants of cultural events but also for café guests.
The arrangement relied heavily on bold and energetic splashes of color used in curtains and furniture upholstery. The curtains delineated various seating areas - furnished with higher tables and chairs as well as armchairs and sofas with lower tables. An integral part of the space is the bar, as well as consistently arranged restrooms. Additionally, a small exhibition space showcasing memorabilia related to Maria Koterbska was incorporated into the café area. Live plants complemented the interior design. The interior was furnished with furniture from Polish manufacturers, including Paged and MDD. The curtains were made from fabrics by the Polish brand Davis.
Complementary elements of the arrangement include specially designed furniture for the foyer - a reception counter for ticket sales and checking, as well as a table and display screen for selling promotional souvenirs. These elements were made from steel, perforated sheet metal, and plywood.
